Artem Gordeev was born in 1988 in Cherkasy (Ukraine). Artem graduated from the Faculty of directing a classical and modern ballet, The Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema, and Television University.
Artem is Grand Prix Winner of the Choreographer Competition of the Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet (2015, Ukraine).
Art director and founder of Newspaper Birds modern ballet troupe.

Artem Gordeev is a participant and finalist of the Ukrainian television dance competition "So you think you can dance" - a television program based on the format of the American TV series "So you think you can dance" which took place in 2009. By the end of this project, Artem was invited to have the title role in the musical of the same name "Baron Munchausen".
From 2014 to 2018, he was invited to the "The Great Gatsby Ballet" led by the artistic director Denis Matvienko and choreography by Dwight Rhoden (Complexions Contemporary Ballet), USA.
In 2018, Artem has worked in "Radio and Juliet" and "Quatro" ballets directed by Edward Clug.
Experience as a choreographer.
From 2016 to 2018 Artem worked in Kazakhstan with ballet troupes of Astana Opera and Kazakh State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Abay (Almaty). Created numerous choreographic miniatures for professional and public holidays.
In 2015, he created a choreographic performance "Malevich - 0.10" at the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture (NAOMA).
In the same 2015, Artem directed a mini-ballet in the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv. In 2014, he created and directed the one-act ballet "Anima" on the stage of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth, "KMATOB-FEST-2014".
In 2018, Artem created two one-act ballets: "The Ants" based on the novel by Bernard Werber The Ants and "MOZART 25" plotless ballet to the music of the 25th symphony by W.A. Mozart.
Artem directed his two choreographic miniatures "Carmen. No.6: Scene" (the author’s interpretation of the classic the plot of Carmen by Prosper Merimee to music by Georges Bizet) and "Dance of the sugar plum fairy" (modern choreographic interpretation) in 2019. Created fashion ballet for the performance "Total look" by Fyodor Vozianov in 2019.
